Strength Training - Personal Trainer Basingstoke
In your 40s and already active? Do you want a challenge beyond just going to the gym, targeting 10,000 steps a day, or picking random exercises each time you train?
If so, strength training isn't just your next step - it's, I'd argue, essential. Yes, you'll get stronger, but your resilience to fatigue and injury also improves, as does your confidence to push appropriately harder.
My strength training programmes are designed with anyone in their 40s, 50s and 60s+ in mind. The focus is protecting joints, maintaining - and in many cases building - a little muscle, and keeping you more than capable for whatever life throws your way.
