Beginners Fitness for Over 40s -
Personal Trainer Basingstoke

If you've never really trained before, or you're coming back after years away, 40 is a good place to start taking it seriously. And no, you don't need to wait for anything or anyone to start. Your goals may be as straightforward as weight loss, increasing strength, getting fit for a little more adventure - or just why the hell not.

You don't need to wait until it creeps up on you, either. Your body starts changing quietly whether you train or not - and accelerated muscle loss typically begins in your 40s, long before you notice it.

The important part of my coaching is this: we start with the basics - learning to move well and how to exercise with confidence in the gym environment. It's this foundation we build on, targeting the milestones that get you to your long-term health and fitness goals.

While you'll obviously bring your own goals and needs to the table, I'll underpin all of it with the specific goal at this stage in your fitness journey - to get ahead of the muscle loss before it becomes a problem, not after. Strength you build now is strength you keep.
